Today is the 60th anniversary of the Queen’s accession to the throne
Now I feel old as I do remember the King dying and her coronation, we had to stand to attention in class at junior school as the Royal Train, carrying the King’s body to London from Windsor, went through our local station, Hayes
I know it is not PC to view history via reigns of monarchs, but it is one thing imprinted on my mind, as no doubt the death of Princes Dianna is indelibly printed uopn my children’s minds, and no doubt the inevitable death of our Queen will be printed upon my grandchildren’s minds
